<shrugs> He's just trolling me.
I chose not to pursue music as a career because it was too iffy and
unstable. Plus, I LIKE health care. I feel more useful. :-)
There are a lot of people with good voices and talent that choose to not
go in that direction for a number of reasons.

You are confused and should lay off the drugs that om gives you. The
only one being laughed at is you one who hides behind a faked email
address, nntp posting host, and who is a major wuss. How many times has
om sucked your cock?

Be honest it's because you have no musical talent, and do better as a
janitor/receptionist.

Wilds of Pennsylvania? You make it sound so out of the way. As the crow
flies, I'm 14-15 miles from Philly.

Contrary to public opinion, the sun DOES rise in Media, PA.

<snork> pot->kettle->black Greg.

Have you ever, even once, considered that you might be a lot happier if
you tried being a decent human being instead of the negative POS that
you are?

I mean geezus!

I know that I'm happy with who and what I am! How about you?

Of course we can. Just put on your best voice so we can sing AND dance in
the rain.

I'll provide the rain.

I can't sing to good, but I can carry a beat. I can also recommend some
tasty food for lunch.

I skipped lunch today, but I'll probably have breakfast for dinner :-)
If I don't loose power. Having thunderstorms in the area in a little while.

So if the power stays on, I'll have two eggs over easy on halves of a
whole wheat toasted muffin, with some cheddar sliced over the top, and
ham on the side.

:-) have a nice evening...

I can carry a silly conversation, does that count? I've also carried a
lunch box from time to time (trying to stay on topic so Om doesn't get
mad at me).

You may both be right.

In his earlier days he was spot on. I'm listening to an early 70's
recording of La Boehme. Pavarotti is simply excellent. Some of the
notes he reaches and holds can only be described in terms of a vocal
orgasm.

In his later years he had health problems, and that was bound to
effect his voice. I saw him in Pittsburgh in the early 90s. He
might as well have been a dot - that was how far away he was, although
the acoustics were excellent.

His voice suffered in his later years.

OMG, what you must think of *my* pitch control.

You know, I think I have enough sense of pitch that I I could identify
an E. I just fired up the Hammond and sang an E, then played an E and
I was spot on, Same with A and B.

Hehe, E-A-B, the chords to the bubblegum song. I'm sure that folks
here'll despise it as much as the old alt.punkers did:

Wash You Like a Cat

Ev'ry inch, now
Ev'ry inch, now

I wanna wash you like a cat
Whatchya have to say to that?
All over.

Maybe goes to yea (It's all over)
I'm gonna get to you
One kiss and I'll say, "It's all over."
I'm gonna get to you.

I'm gonna wash you like a cat
Whatchya have to say to that?
Any day now.

I'm gonna get to you (any day now)
Some dreams do come true
I'm gonna get to you (any day now)
Alright, down on you

I wanna wash you like a cat
Whatchya have to say to that?
Any day now

Ev'ry inch now
Ev'ry inch now

I'm wanna wash you like a cat
Whatchya have to say to that?

The Rolling Stones are sublime. While it's true that Satanic
Majesty's fell into the Stones' anything-you-can-do-I-can-do-better
joke on the Beatles, it nevertheless had some great material.
Citadel, She's a Rainbow and the title track were all great.

I'd never aspire to equal the Stones. No one ever has, and it's hard
to imagine they could. Very likely you are ignorant of The Bonobos'
music, and your insults are at about a third grade level.
And on a personal level, at least people know who *I* am. I don't
hide my identity like a coward, then issue anonymous, childish
critiques of things that I'm completely unfamiliar with.

Bryan,

Right. It was the Stone's answer to Sgt. Pepper.

I haven't listened to that album in years!

We listen to it pretty frequently. My 7 YO shares my love for Stones
music. For his birthday last Fall I took him to the record store. He
chose "Flowers."

The only 9pre-Goat's Head Soup) one we don't currently have is BB.
