Default Dinner tonight 21Jun

Char grilled Sirloin steak with mint peas, crunchy (steamed) broccoli,
creamy garlic mash, parsnip chips, and a balsamic and rosemary reduction
sauce.

The Sirloin steak after it'd been 'bashed'.

The rather nice mint peas.

(I'm sure the stalkers amongst us will have a field day with that...)

Char'en 'em up.

(The steaks were 'bashed' with a full wine bottle to about 1/3 their
thickness, rubbed with some EVOO, sprinkled with Maldon, and given a good
dose of FGBP.)

Getting that cross char action happening.......

1. How'd you do the parsrnip chips? 2. Wish I could buy peas
already minted! What's that in with them,? Lettuce? Cucumbers? 3. I
gotta get one of those grill pans! $> I wanna have dinner at your
house. Hey, it's only 13,688 Kilometers (as the crow flies) from
Fargo to Brisbane
Nice post, thanks!

Yum. ;-d

I often use the jaquard tenderizer on sirloin.
It works!
