![]() "Bobo *Envious *******d* Bonobo" opines: > People don't become more worthy of respect when their hearts stop beating. Micheal Jackson doesn't need your respect... he had (and still has and always will have) three things you don't have and never will have, talent, respect for all men, and self respect... LOSER! Barach Obama has offered no praise to this real world leader, who without Micheal Jackson (a true world leader and icon of peace for more than thirty years) would never have his position. Obama is also a no talent, no self respect, respect for nobody loser just like you. |

You're correct that if they're still stupid, the explanation probably didn't do any good...but isn't it cruel to allow people to make fools of themselves without even *attempting* to set them straight? In her day, Farrah was a cultural icon. I was never a huge fan of hers, but I certainly recognize that fact. Does she deserve to have her death ignored simply because a world-class freak died on the same day? As far as my own role models go, I'd have to say that Arleigh Burke and Grace Hopper are high on the list. Harlan Ellison's there too. I'm guessing that your role models include Perez Hilton and Britney Spears (which probably makes your list more "normal" than mine, but a helluva lot less admirable). Bob |

Perez Hilton is a fruitcake, anyone who takes him seriously needs to see a head shrink quick. As for Britney, she's had a hard time handling her stardom and it's screwed her up. Add in the kids, and the multiple men in her life, the many trips to hospital, the drugs and booze and you've got a very neurotic woman trying to make a comeback as a superstar. She'll never be what she once was. |

Whoa-whoa-WHOA! *WHO*? Anne P. Mitchell, Esquire? Just how long *have* you been reading this group, "Kitty"? What other names have you used here? Anyway, you've got cyber**** all wrong. Cyber**** *never* wants to elevate the conversation. Its natural environment is the gutter, so that's the only level where it's comfortable, and that's where it tries to drag both online discussions and its johns. Bob |

I have been reading this group for a long time but I never posted because you all know so much more about cooking than I do. What could I teach you? And there are lots of people here who are mean to people posting about cooking the way I cook like Sandra Lee. What finely got me started posting was the way people were ganging up on Jilly. She is my neighbor, and where I come from we look after our neighbors. Even though Jilly and I have never been introduced, I am sure she has seen me many times. I don't know that we could ever be friends because I am not pretty like her, and it is hard to be close friends with someone that pretty when you are not pretty yourself like Sandra Lee. And Farrah, may she R.I.P. But I digress. I do not want to say much about myself because I know people get fired for writing in public like this, and I do not want to be fired. So I will go back to just reading this group and not post any more, but take it easy on Silly-Jilly! OK? Kitty, going fishing in the Bast-boat |
