Default Good-quality tabletop grill-type multi-function cooker?

I realize a lot of you are gourmet cooks and may turn up your nose at
this question (and if you do, please feel free to pass it by and find a
discussion more to your liking), but when I was in the ER with an ill
child, I saw this infomercial for a thing called a Redi Set Go cooker,
which looked like an incredibly cheap piece-of-garbage excuse for a
waffle iron or George Foreman grill type of thing that you could also
cook omelets, panini, pizzas, etc. in, as well as meat or vegetables,
and I thought that if I could find something that would do an omelet
type of thing or a pizza type of thing that wasn't a piece of cheap junk
that looks like it would not be usable after 3-6 months, it might be
worth trying now that I work a full-time job plus run a part-time
business.

I have looked at waffle irons with reversible plates with a flat side
and panini grills and am not convinced they would work because I think
the stuff would spill over the sides, but I am not sure.

Does anybody know of something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that
would work for this? Looking for a single appliance hopefully with
parts that remove for washing that would make omelets, impossible-pie
types of things, pizzas or quesadillas or the like, that would hold up,
and if I could use it instead of my Foreman grill also so that I
wouldn't need to keep my Foreman (which has permanent residence on my
limited kitchen counter space) as well, that would be icing on the cake.

TIA for any ideas, suggestions, or whatever.
Samantha
