After reading that, I have been in the mood for a donut all day. Not that I want a donut, I just like to recognize history. <anybody buying that story?> Becca |

I believe it's dipped in a chocolate glaze. You'd have to batter it to deep fry it. Cindy Hamilton |

I always have some key limes and found some chocolate bark so I thought
I'd try to see if I could make chocolate covered key lime rounds on a stick. First, peeling a key lime is not easy. Even with a sharp paring knife and an as seen on TV Titan peeler. I managed to peel the little lime and skewer it. I melted the bark in the microwave and dunked the lime on a stick then I let it harden. It looked very cute. Eating it was not fun. What I managed to do was squish it with my teeth and some chocolate-flavored lime juice squirted out. The combination of the tart limes and chocolate is still intriguing, but the process needs some direction. -- Janet Wilder Way-the-heck-south Texas Spelling doesn't count. Cooking does. |
