File this one under "it was inevitable":
A local (northern California) newspaper has an ad from farmers who do CSA boxes, to be dropped weekly at your address in the eastbay or San Francisco, that include "medicinal cannibis, produce, eggs, cheese, and more..." I have not yet heard a direct report confirming said drops of boxes of goodies are in fact happening... Steve |

So as a Californian, what do you think about the initative (or whatever) to decriminalize, sell, and tax it? Can you imagine the amount of revenue? |

Can you imagine the >amount of revenue? Yeah, the revenue would be great... but the whole thing could turn into a real nightmare considering the law of unintended consequences. However, the California budge crisis wouldn't exist if our fearless leader had just allowed car registration fees to go back to the original level when it should have. Do the math... 5 billion a year of lost tax revenue just about equals our state deficit. -- I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food. |
