Good food, good wine and sangria. Can't remember the name, however. gloria p |

Just south of Long Beach is Huntington Beach - Buca di Beppo is an Italian chain, but fun. Ask to get the *kitchen* table to watch the action. http://www.bucadibeppo.com/locations...?location=0516 Terry "Squeaks" Pulliam Burd -- "If the soup had been as hot as the claret, if the claret had been as old as the bird, and if the bird's breasts had been as full as the waitress's, it would have been a very good dinner." - Duncan Hines To reply, replace "meatloaf" with "cox" |

AFAIC, that's a place for a big group (try to get The Pope's Table) where the food doesn't make much difference. -- -Barb, Mother Superior, HOSSSPoJ http://web.me.com/barbschaller - good news 4-6-2009 "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle." -Philo of Alexandria |

I had a salad and it was good. The real fun though is pretending you're dining with the Astors or Lord and Lady Hoity Toity in the age of luxury cruising. Mookie |

It's a tad on the noisy side, but something ya need to do once. Their veal parm is mahvalous. I find my tolerance for chains increasing incrementally with the number of grandchildren.
