Hey, I"m in Florida. Dunno if this is happening anywhere but here....but the
phone, tv, radio and phone are all static-y. Um...could this be attributed to
that Sun thang that the press has been yammering about lately?

Yep, sunspots, solar flares, whatever you choose to call 'em. Look outside
and see if you can see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights)
