(Looks over at Miss Kitty lounging eyes closed on her late morning chair) Yep, I'd be inclined to agree. But beware when Psycho Kitty comes to play! Cats sleep an average of 13-18 hours a day, yano? I have a cat that typically is draped over one of my feet, or disappears periodically during the day, but if I leave the computer to go sit on the living room couch, he knows, and will within minutes come to sit in the crook of my legs. He tries to act like the "alpha" cat, but is really just a big baby :-) The lick thing? He reserves that for about 30 minutes before breakfast, and then will lick my hair to wake me up. I keep him on a diet to prevent him turning into a balloon. But he knows when it's close to breakfast or dinner time. He is also VERY annoying at times. He'll lick any plastic bags in the vicinity to just annoy me. Bob |

My sister had a dog when I was young, that would not eat anything without a fried egg on it. I kid you not. It simply would rather go hungry. I've been very cautious about too many good things for the critters. Just like I have carob chips for the dog, when I want to try to train him ( or him me I'm guessing) instead of chocolate. But all three current critters get dry food only, unless I'm feeling generous, and share a small piece of meat or something while I'm cooking. Bob |
