disappoint!

Obviously, you don't read computer magazines particularly those
concerned with Linux, where "distro" is very commonly used :-)

So language has devolved into text message talk in technical
publications? Are they too cheap to hire decent editors?

Plumped Cranberries?
Personally, I don't care for raw carrots.

I've hated raw carrots since I was 3 years old. Seriously. ;-)
It's a texture thing.

Well, I was counting on you to figure out that you'd just have to suck off
the creamy dressing and swallow that... I didn't expect you to bite into the
carrot... I'll be careful not to wave my carrot around you anymore. LOL

Chewing them up, I can't swallow them.
It's a lot like shredded coconut.

Like trying to swallow shredded paper!

The funny thing is, I think there there are others that really do feel
the same way. For instance, my sister asked me to put raw carrots on the
crudite tray for Thanksgiving one year, so I did.

All the celery sticks, raw zucchini, portabello strips, broccoli and
cauliflower got eaten. Only a few of the raw "baby" carrots got eaten.

I kept what was left of them in the 'frige and cooked them later for
another dinner.

For Christmas, I did another crudite tray and this time, I lightly
steamed the baby carrots.

They got wiped out that time. ;-)

What raw crunchy vegetables do you like? I just don't call raw a bad
texture. Cooked carrots... that's a bad texture!

Zucchini, crookneck squash, mexican zucchini, any mushrooms, celery,
broccoli, cauliflower (and related veggies), asparagus.

Just cannot stand raw carrots, love them cooked. ;-)

Raw onions, same same.

Forget bell peppers, raw or cooked! Those make me feel ill.
