I've always loved carrots. Grew 'em as a kid, I love 'em raw or
cooked. Great source of vitamin A too!

You've probably never been introduced to the hundreds and hundreds of
interesting and very tasty recipes for carrots, and other root vegetables.
Carrot cake is delicious.

Carrot cake is delicious, and LOADED with oil! I made it once, and had
to double check myself and the recipe to make sure I should really
dump that much oil into the cake batter! OMFG!!

It must be like 500 Kcals per piece of carrot cake! But it's 500
delicious Kcals!!

I have had maybe dozens of different root vegetable preparations using
turnips, parsnips, rutabaga, carrots, etc. I never turn down a chance to
try a new dish because you never know when something will sneak up on your
that you will like.

Carrot cake isn't my favorite but it is good enough mostly because the
"carrot" flavor is over powered by the other ingredients, especially the
cream cheese icing.

Years ago I filled in for a week as an assistant to a pastry chef. People
raved about his brownies and how moist they were... as well as his other
cakes. His "secret" was that he pureed carrots and added them to many of
his recipes, especially the ones that had chocolate in them. He told me
that the carrot pulp helped retain moisture and the sweetness of the carrots
accentuated the flavor of chocolate.

They were good brownies, that's for sure.

That's because you're a ****ing imbecile who didn't check other recipes, and
doesn't know that all the oil could be substitued with applesauce... ****ing
shit for brains. Anyway I don't believe you ever made any carrot cake,
because carrot cake gets much of it's moisture from the carrots and
typically doesn't call for excessive quantities of oil, that's one reason
why folks eat carrot cake, they are relatively low fat. John UNKuthe is
obviously a liar, who resented being informed that there are hundreds and
hundreds of interesting and very tastey carrot recipes.
