Is there such a thing as a good digital timer that lasts more than 6-9
months? We are so sick of buying these things and tossing them in the trash. Features are less important than something of better than average quality. |

I usually get them free from someplace. Like free with a trial subscription to a cooking mag. Anyway, the last one I had I used for well over 10 years. Had to get a new battery once. It just died a couple of years ago. But I got another free one and that one has been going strong for several years. I can't imagine what's going wrong with yours - dropping it? You do realize they run on batteries, right. ;-) But the battery should be good for years. It's a puzzlement.
