I guess that'd be my "Li'l Hitler" Easy-Bake Oven. I dunno what I was
thinking when I bought that thing. I hardly ever use it...

Agreed. What's interesting to me is the appliances that
folks find valuable enough that they stay on the counter,
followed by the ones on a shelf in the kitchen for easy
access. What do I care about an appliance that migrated
to the storage room then the garage then the trash?

Stays on the counter all the time - Mixer, food processor,
toaster, small microwave.

Stays on a shelf in the kitchen for easy access - Tilia
vacuum sealer, a couple of sizes of crockpot, the rotary
veggie shredder thing that makes cole slaw and other
salads (hand powered maybe it doesn't count as an
appliance), a couple types of fondue pots, the rotary
meat slicer to cut my own cold cuts, wand mixer and
hand held mixer, rice cooker steamer.

Stuff that has left the building - All sorts of stuff that
looked cool in the store. The only stuff I "hated" were
machines that took far more work than they were worth
like the Champion juicer that was a convenient to use
and as quiet as a gas powered lawn mower but at least
the machine did a good job once I'd gotten through all
of the set up hassle. I don't hate items like an air
popcorn popper - I just never use them.

Okay, I'll admit overstating the hard to clean part But I really don't
need a food processor. It's not like I'm cooking for a crowd. I've used it
for slicing yellow squash for my squash casserole but it would have been
just as simple to use a chefs knife and I'd have had fewer things to wash.
Ditto my signature roasted butternut squash soup... I can puree the roasted
squash in a blender just as easily as in a FP. I don't "hate" it but I
could certainly live without one.
