You mean watch your meal go in the crapper.

Oh, Puhleeze... there is nothing bad about Bordens dairy products, and
American Cheese has it's place in many recipes (Bordens is one of the better
ones), folks who are quick to abase a food product without giving a reason
are those who probably eat the very worst of the worst on a daily basis.
Whenever folks here talk about how they only drink $40 a bottle wines and
costlier and only buy cheese in gourmet cheese shops at $15 a pound and
more I know that they are the liars who live off fast food cheese boogers
and drink nothing better than fast food orange ade... if they truly ate
"well" they'd mention nothing about less costly foods like this clod did....
if ths disingenuous pinhead focused on the fact that this is a spammer, but
no, this clown used the opportunity to boast by insinuation that Bozo eats
better, NOT!

I agree. There's times when I want a special thing, but a run of the mil
regular works more often than not for my needs.

LOL! Possible!

Oh, I've got some 15$ and upwards cheeses at times, but they are for special
use, hardly for cooking etc when I need a little grated 'chedder' or
something like it.

The tomato basil doesnt appeal to me nor the bacon one, but the pepper jack
might be good. I like to use pepperjack on my lunch samwiches. Not as
useful for cooking, but works nicely on samwiches!

You really cheese a sloppy Joe?

I'm OK with a frosty mug of Pabst! Coming from Bud Light, that's exotic
stuff! <VBG>

Heck yeah! Cheese on a SJ is the best. Just like cheese on a hot dog
or a booger! Everything goes better with cheese! and a cold beer too!

I don't buy into flavored cheese. OK, pepperjack slipped under the radar
but cheese should be merited based on it's own natural flavors (if it's
natural cheese), imho.

I can easily add fresh applewood smoked bacon to a sandwich when I feel
like it.

phony flavour, or real stuff?

Why would they need to phoney up those common inexpensive ingredients?!?!?
I just don't care much for those flavors; pepperjack is a common inexpensive
cheese sold everywhere, I sometimes buy it because it's a good cheap cheese
to nibble with pretzels on a boozing night, folks who imbibe love the mild
palate cleansing pepperyness, I just don't think it'll work well as limp
wristed infantile slices with the evening partying crowd. Sundried tomato
goes well with American cheese but add basil and it's TIAD (not many cheeses
go with basil - mild practically flavorless mozz is about all, if you like
basil, I don't... mozz is the tofu of cheeses, which is mainly why it works
on a pizza). And American cheese with bacon is a definite TIAD... what were
they thinking... cheese on a BLT, I don't think so. American cheese olive
loaf, now yer talkin'! Borden's not only missed the boat, they fell off the
pier.

That's why nobody ever puts bacon on top of mac & cheese, or puts bacon and
American cheese onto a burger. You're BUSTED AGAIN, IDIOT!

sf,

Some cheese sections at the upscale markets seem to go on for miles. I just
never did pay much attention. Extra-sharp Cheddar and Parmesan and Jack have
been my mainstays.

Hmmm. I'd try the bacon one. Sometimes I want that kind of
cheese in a sandwich.
