It's part of the school curriculum for my 7 year old to learn to swim. He
gets free swimming lessons at school. Even though he can swim already he
still gets to go with his class from September until after Christmas, where
they receive intensive hour long swimming lessons every week. From the age
of about 4 he could swim enough to get out of a pool, (we took him weekly
with us and hour long lessons as well) but he can now swim dive and go down
every awful flume ride at the local pool. (we always go parent-child-parent
to reduce the risks).

Sarah,

That's great! No school I ever attended had a swimming pool!

Best,

Andy
