I was not much of a contributer for many years as I had no time. I went from military, to sys admin internationally, to system engineer, etc, to father of two boys, and working way too many hours, and having projects that were international in scope... tons of travel, weird hour conference calls, 7/24 on call problem resolution facilitator, etc.. I can google a Usenet posting from me from 1996 if that makes a difference to you. My first PC was a radio shack PC1 (8k of memory with no hard drive) in 1979. 286's I don't believe were available yet although I didn't research that... not worth the trouble. First system I worked on? A Philco Ford processor the size of a double refrigerator. The next? A PDP 11/34. So yes, I go a ways back. So your near, is a ways off. Not that should matter except for those wanting to pull seniority :-) And in that case, it is likely you are older than me, so that's okay. I was raised to respect my elders. Regards, Bob |

I would be more inclined to believe she lets all the little Indians back out from the KF like I do (except for a couple) to see if they are now on meds, or have done their 12 step, etc, once in a while. If they haven't, then back they go. That's why I was aware of Shelger's worthless poke(s) at me today. What he does not realize, is I hold him in the same regard as a slug. Must be useful somewhere, just not *here*, and certainly not to me. So back into the KF he went. He does not make me angry. The same reason why I don't get angry at a kid with ADD. It's not their fault they are that way. There just *has* to be some sort of organic reason why they act they way they do. Anyways, hope you have a nice Sunday, Bob |

Rather than gainsaying Bob's opinion and following with an ad hominem, I'll take a different tack, in the hope that Bob can reach some insight into how he came to that opinion which seems so far divorced from reality. If people work things out on their own, they usually learn more effectively. So, Bob, can you point to any post by cyber**** which made you think it was smart? I can't say I've ever seen such a thing from cyber****. Maybe we have wildly diverging ideas about what the word "smart" means, but I'm curious as to whether you formed your opinion based on something cyber**** wrote, or whether it's just your normal habit to assume people are smart. Here you are changing your "reply-to" again when you pointed out I should KF you... which is it? You want attention? Or would you, like me, prefer I ignore you? Do you want a rise (you're not going to get it)? Or do you want respect and left in a KF? Well, I digress, you won't get respect in either case. You certainly are not going to get any respect.... Have you seen your doctor about your random outbursts of looking for attention? And yes, this is the 3rd version of you I put in my KF since yesterday morning... Bob |

So you *can't* point out anything "smart" that cyber**** ever wrote. I didn't think so. Now you feel embarrassed by having the logical disconnect in your Pollyanna attitude spotlighted, so you've decided to attack me, even though I was perfectly civil to you in what I wrote above. I think it's a bit stupid of you to use the phrase "your wife left," don't you? I mean, given the fact that your wife really DID leave you, and you have been moping about for the last year or more because of it. Loneliness makes you do some irrational things, doesn't it? I'm just going to assume that cyber**** reminds you of your wife, so you unconsciously (and fallaciously, of course) overlay your wife's attributes onto your impression of cyber****. I have no idea what your wife was like, but unless she is a crack-addicted rabid bitch who gives rimjobs to strangers in exchange for cigarettes, she's probably not really very much like cyber****.
