Default "The Settlement Cookbook" question

I bought the 1976 book club edition at a yard sale yesterday for 25
cents. I remember a thread about this a while back. Can I find this
thread, and how do I go about it? Thanks....Sharon in Canada

I don't know how the search function in your newsreader works, but
that thread was August 4 and 5. In GoogleGroups, it is:

Let me try that again. You'll probably have to cut and paste to deal
with the linebreak.

Well, shit. The part that needs to be pasted on to the end after
<thread/> is :
99cf102eac1f7ebf/81672dccc97e09ca

Maybe that'll work. -aem

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Thanks aem...I got it. It was an interesting read. I probably
wouldn't have bought the book if the title hadn't jogged my memory about the
thread., and the price was right It has pork recipes in it. I've not
had time to go through it thoroughly, but will over the next few
days....Sharon in Canada

I opened Google and in its search window typed <"Settlement Cookbook"
rec.food.cooking> (without the brackets). The thread is the third or
fourth hit.

My favorite recipe is their banana bread. It has the advantage of
having no added oil, just the fat from the eggs.

dialog).
