![]() The nursery has all it's plants, flowers, trees, planters, etc... on sale for half price. They are getting ready to change seasons and will be preparing to become a pumpkin patch. Last week I bought two 4" pots, one of parsley and one mint. I also bought two terra cotta pots and drain dishes for a whopping total of $7.00. I wasn't sure how long the sale would last so Sunday I stopped by and bought more herbs. I bought rosemary, sage, Thai basil, cilantro, thyme and lemon thyme and some pots to plant them in. I think I'll put shelves up the sides of the cabinets that are on each side of the window and put them there. I'm still vacillating as to what to do, so for right now my window ledge is pretty full. At least watering them is easy. The two plants on either side of the faucet is the lemongrass I bought at the grocery store and planted. http://i26.tinypic.com/1zgbwx4.jpg koko -- There is no love more sincere than the love of food George Bernard Shaw www.kokoscorner.typepad.com updated 08/09 |

Yesterday Lin and I took a drive to a nursery way out in the Vacaville countryside to find herbs for our garden. Turned out that Monday is the *only* day of the week that the place is closed! Well, it was a pretty drive anyway. Bob |

I haven't started it up since we moved. I have so much more room inside now for potted plants I thought I'd enjoy that for a while. I have comtemplated setting it up in my office at work though. koko -- There is no love more sincere than the love of food George Bernard Shaw www.kokoscorner.typepad.com updated 08/25 |

I'll bet it_is_beautiful. Ravishing, I'd look ravishing in persimmon. :-) koko -- There is no love more sincere than the love of food George Bernard Shaw www.kokoscorner.typepad.com updated 08/25 |
