You could just add the chili ingredients to ground beef add egg for a binder
and form and cook.

Default Beat THIS breakfast!?!

I went to the Auburn farmers' market this morning and picked up some salmon
which is mostly being made into gravlax for my birthday dinner in a few
days. After I cut up the salmon and put it into the cure, I still had a
bunch of meaty salmon skin and a little less than a quarter-pound of salmon
left. So today's breakfast was the crisped salmon skin and salmon with whole
wheat toast, two sunny-side-up eggs, salt, pepper, and dill. I also had
about a quarter of an Asian pear. (The remainder was packed up for my lunch
tonight; I ate the portion which didn't fit into the ziploc bag.)

Actually, I totally understand that. <g> Flavor is everything when it
comes to sauces.

It's why I drop by Olive Garden from time to time and purchase a bottle
of their caesar dressing. That stuff is the gods, and the bottles they
sell it in are pretty. That amount also lasts me a few months so it's
worth the price.

For pre-made red sauce tho' my favorite is a Grocery store item from the
cold deli section. Buitoni brand Marinara sauce. It's VERY good and I
highly recommend it for either pasta or pizza sauce.

Sounds tasty. :-)

Now that I've finally gotten around to playing with meat curing (with
the Canadian bacon), I'm going to have to try making gravlax. I do like
the stuff!

Should go well in spring rolls with sprouts. <eg>

Silver side is beef taken fron the rear leg known for the silver tint ,
you may know it as corned beef ?

Atec lives about 45mins from me...... depending on the traffic and the
cryptic directions he gives you :-)

We go back a long way. Back to the 'bad old days' of an ISP called Gil,
where some of the members used to meet up every now and then and have a BBQ
get-together.

That's going back about early 90's. I remember one BBQ at Daisy Hill, when
I was living in either Rochedale South or Wishart, and that was in 1990-1.
IIRC, that's where I first met him. Coming up to 20 years ago.........

I'm still trying to figure out if he's in the UK or Australia...

Our local grocery store only used to carry 3 types of sprouts. Mung
bean, Alfalfa and "Zesty" sprouts which are a mix of alfalfa, clover and
radish. Lately they have begun carrying clover sprouts. They are
WONderful!

Now if I can get them to start carrying sunflower sprouts, I can quit
fooling around with my sprouting jars. <g> I've been growing sunflower
sprouts for me and my cockatoo. The entire sprout tastes like sunflower
seed, but lower in calories and carbs, and higher in nutrition.
Sun Harvest in Austin sells Sunflower sprouts but it's a bit of a drive.

I love sprouts. ;-d

I was in Wildwood, NJ this weekend. Saturday breakfast was with two
friends at Samuel's Pancake House. Samuel's pancakes are out of this
world! They're light and fluffy and full of buttery goodness. I ordered
a combo platter with two scrambled eggs, three pancakes, and three
strips of slightly crispy bacon, plus some hot tea and a large glass of
tomato juice. One of my friends ordered the same thing I did. Another
friend passed on the pancakes and ordered a vegetable omelet with bacon
in it, wheat toast, and home fried potatoes. We all enjoyed our food.
