This is just a "headsup" if you don't already know. The public television
"Julie and Jacques Cooking at Home" series is being rerun.. It's absolutely priceless. We're going to buy the 4CD set, something we've never done before. Ed |

It was one of the many food programs that my local station has used to fill up the new channels they've gotten by going to digital. With digital, I see so much more. Joanne Weir sure has bad teeth. Digital also makes her look so much older. I was checking out the buttons on my remote control to see if I have a freeze-frame function. I don't, but I discovered there's a program schedule button. That was a surprise! Very convenient. |

Since PBS stations are not linked via a national schedule, like network television, what you see will be different than the stations I receive. Each PBS station will purchase their programs via a syndication arrangement. I tend to buy television programs that I really enjoy as sets. If you wish to view the video as well as the audio portion of the programs, I would suggest buying either the DVD or the (shudder at the quality) VHS version, rather than a CD set. -- Dave What is best in life? I'm quite to prone to errors like this, as we all know. Thanks again, Ed |

What a treat! Enjoyed watching them create similar dishes from the same basic ingredients, then tasting each others' offerings. Now *that's* a cooking show!
