I already did. KF'd a buncha twits and crossposters. Surprisingly,
some of the most offensive, I've spared. Kinkda like how you can't
avoid looking at a train wreck.

And purebreds sometimes end up in shelters or feral. It's more
difficult to adopt adult cats, so when the owner gets moved to overseas
or is forced to move to an apartment that doesn't allow pets, sometimes
the shelter is all they can find on short notice. And sometimes the
owner finds a good home for their cat, and the cat just wants the old
'hood, so they escape and move back there.

Right, and the survival rate wasn't on their side to grow up to adulthood.
However, having just one child isn't a good idea in my opinion. They need
to learn to socialize from a young age, and siblings are the first
experience of that. I think of my sister's twins and how bonded they are.
Maybe more as twins than siblings, but they still always have each other no
matter what. Also, when you have an only child and a tragedy occurs, the
parents are left childless. And, not by choice.

I've heard (but what do I know) that red point are the most gentle and
friendly of all siamese cats. If this is true, mine is no exception.
Right now, he's playing with our little 3 and 1/2 mo black kitten
(well, it took 2 weeks for him to accept the kitten, but now they're
chums) who is also a darling and purrs like a well-oiled engine
whenever you start cuddling him :-)

My late cat, Annie, was the most loving, affectionate cat we ever had;
she was a lynx point Siamese. On Halloween morning, an employee found
her in the dumpster, she was about 5-6 days old. She lived to be 17 and
I still miss her. She loved everybody, she even liked the neighborhood
kids. She was not wild about dogs, though.

Few cats are. I attribute that to a lack of good recipes on how to
prepare dog.

Because she's a wimp and a troll, and that's much more polite than what I'd
like to say about her.

OB Food: sugar pumpkins are best for pie. I'm not baking pie. But I will
be buying decorative pumpkins and gourds to decorate my front porch for
fall.

Another wimp and loser. I can't stand either of them. And the best pumpkin
for pie is still small sugar pumpkins.
