Couple of facts before you call anyone an idiot

1 Royal Lao Navy has no Ocean its a land locked country
2 What was observed there in the navy were Ex US made Patrol boats
3 They DO fish in the waterways

And the size of one species in particular is damned enormous
(albeit the species may not be with us much longer thanks to China
and others dams on the Mekong )

I don't know how much depth charges cost, but I suspect they aren't cost
effective. Besides, running out of depth charges sounds almost as
serious as running out of food or fuel.

Grenades are good in reasonably confined areas, ie, 10' deep water hole,
about 20' across.

If we are not meant to eat animals,
why are they made of meat?
