Default WoooooooooooooooHoooooooooooo!! Wine and food and football!!

Sat nite wine tasting was a *blast*!!

7 different wines to try, all 'blind tasting', with prizes for everyone
going on how many points you scored.

We had 7 couples (8 counting us).......... didn't realise it was the day
before the full moon...... probably why it was a rather 'boisterous'
night :-)

I 'doubled up' and had some of the Wagyu beef burgers that we had at the
party for 80. Char grilled on a woodfire on the Weber......... *bloody*
fantastic!!

Some of the couples called it a night at about 2am, as they had kids
coming back in the morning from babysitters....... and my morning coffee
was an obstacle course of stepping over bodies!! Good thing I have spare
beds and mattresses!!

Sunday we all (of those that were left) went out on the bay for a cruise
and a bit of a fish........ but it was just an excuse to have a romp in
the sun and have a few cold beers while we waited for the Football grand
final to start.

Back to my place for the start..... I put my jersey on...... and then
the fight started ;-P

10 people in the house and there was only 4 of us that were Storm
supporters!! And Storm *kicked ass*!!!!

We are the champions............ *AGAIN*!!!!

Now, it's 0120hrs, the house is quiet, the pooch is tucked in, the SO is
in bed asleep, I still have 4 bodies on the loungeroom floor, I've
finished my last glass of wine, have had a coffee and am about to call
it a night.

We're on the road at 0800hrs to drive to a mates place, should be there
by lunchtime, and then we'll be back home at about 2000hrs(8pm) tomorrow
(today??) night. He couldn't make it to the weekend, he's a bit crook,
but is laying on a great lunch and dinner for us.

Lunch is going to be fresh caught prawns.......... I don't care what
else there is, because the prawns he gets are beautiful and sweet!!
Dinner is a rolled and stuffed loin of pork.

Then I might come home and sleep for a couple of days........... yeah,
right!!
