Default Got Breakfast?

Got Breakfast?

I didn't win the lottery again so I combined a bag of TJs organic 3-minute
brown rice with mashed up Egg Beaters and scallions and a SMALL measure of
fresh cracked white pepper with an ice cold glass of milk.

A respectably delicious poor man's egg fried rice for breakfast, imho.

You?

I told you I was going to have some strawberry lite yogurt for breakfast
already.

What I didn't say is I'm having leftover sesame chicken stir fry with
whole grain brown rice for lunch. I'll even stretch the time line a
little. Having been good all day, I pulled a pound of smoked bacon out
of the freezer, and will have an unhealthy breakfast for dinner tonight :-)

l, not -l,

As hard as I try (not really everybody usually manages to trump my
breakfasts!

Sometimes I wonder... "Why Bother!" -- old high school motto.

I - Not - I,

If it makes a difference, and if you were close enough in geography, I'd
be happy to invite you to breakfast.

Many of us that visit this usenet group are just that way.

I feel sorry about the "egg beater". I only do that when scrambling...
:-) But cheese is an important part of any of my omelets.

And, I'd let you eat the whole banana.

Default Got Breakfast?

I had my usual eggs, slice of ham and slice of cheese.... but this morning I
had a treat.

Last night the wife made some gluten-free cornbread to go with dinner and I
had some of that this morning with my eggs. That is some good stuff.

Not the wife... I do. It is unusual in that I became wheat/gluten
intolerant after having a major abdominal surgery and celiac disease is
mostly inherited. My condition isn't terribly serious and if I keep away
from white flour I don't have any problems at all.

My wife is really good at making gluten free recopies.

George L.,

I'm not gluten-free constrained but I AM severely corn bread deficient! ((

Since you prefer "egg beaters", I confess. I beat them at times. And,
yes, you are welcome to my table for breakfast.

Assuming I'm still on course for dinner, I'm making a three egg omelet
with sauted onions, mushrooms, and sweet pepper. Thanks to you, I will
now add a couple of TBs of a medium hot salsa on top of the cheese
(shredded sharp cheddar).

I hope your night is a good one...

Bob
