Default Bland pork?

Hi. There is a vendor at my local Farmer's market that sells
beautiful looking racks of back ribs at $2.99 per pound(Canada
Bucks). I have purchased from these people before; pork chops, and
loin roast, and pork butt roasts. All of their pork I have found to
be very bland which is why I don't purchase from them anymore even
though they are so cheap it's not funny. Any insight into why their
pork is so bland? I'm wondering, it's from China? Their back ribs
have so much meat on them, that it seems like a shame not to buy
them. I've never seen back ribs this meaty. I'm worried about
bland. I can season them up of course, but I like some of the natural
pork flavour there. They have heaps of meat at 9:00 AM, and it sells
out. Nothing better than fresh pork.
