It's nice you've taken it on yourself to educate people about the
possible naughty things that can happen if they click web links, but
you've apparently not actually checked to see whether I've ever posted
here or not. I have. Over several years, in fact, though not often
until fairly recently. Even, usually, about food! Because we all know
that there's never anything off-topic in this group!

I wouldn't even bother to reply to you at all, since you've been
killfiled for ages, but I do take exception to the above statement and
am replying just in case anyone who *does* know me is worried that I
might be wasting my time. Asking for outside help from a group that
I know will have a) many people online from many parts of the world, and
b) many people who might be willing to help is neither a waste of time
nor a waste of resources. There're enough people on here who *do*
recognise my name/email that I knew I'd be able to get help quickly in a
matter of some urgency. And believe me, I do appreciate those of you
who responded, even privately. It set my mind at ease during a rather
stressful hour!

Again, you're free to believe what you like, 'ns', but I'm going to make
no further comment on the subject.

This is OT from the start, it never started as a thread and wandered, you just
