I'm hoping for a break from the kitchen for the next 8 days. The resort
apartment we're going to has a kitchen, but there is a plethora of eating establishments within a stones throw of the place...... everything from takeaway Indian or pizzas, to fine dining. I've already told the SO not to expect too much out of the temporary Casa del Lucas kitchen. Maybe a home cooked meal every 4 days...... which means I only have to cook *twice*!! :-) But....... it all depends on the quality of the restaurants. It's a 5-star resort, so hopefully the surrounding mid-top range restaurants should reflect that. So, the car is packed, all we have to do is get up in the morning, secure the house, and head off. I was going to take the laptop and post pics as they happen...... but I know if I took it, I'd end up doing work related stuff........ so it's staying at home!! We're coming home on the first Tuesday of November...... which everyone should know is Melbourne Cup Day!! Pull into the driveway, throw the gear out of the car, and head off to a MCD function :-) After that, I'm coming home for a *rest*!! -- Peter Lucas Brisbane Australia If we are not meant to eat animals, why are they made of meat? |
