![]() You need: Pointed cabbage Honey olive oil, butter or a bit of both heavy cream Red lentils Water A pot A pan with aluminum foil or a lid If you are used to using lots of salt, I guess you should add some of that, too, but I dont see the need for it. Procedu Preboil your red lentils in water but take them off, before they are done. Slice your pointed cabbage, heat the oil/butter sautee the cabbage, untill some of it gets a tad brown , add some honey, let it brown a bit on some of the cabage, dont overdo it. Add some water, not too much, put on the lid/foil. When the water has evaporated add the lentils and cream. Let it simmer until it thickens a bit. This can be served with a steak, chicken breast, prok chop , or just eaten as a veggie dish. It is awesome and nutritious. |
