Some of our circulars come out today. I will post those. The Mexican
megamart will be out later tonight. The other grocery stores will be
out tomorrow.

http://www.sfmarkets.com/tabs/abq.html
Every Wednesday, they overlap the ads. So last week's is still good
tomorrow:
http://www.sfmarkets.com/tabs/lastweek/abq.html

Another market I frequent sometimes has good sales:
http://www.johnbrooksfoods.com/html/specials.html
Click the different pages to see the specials. It is a lower end
market but still...

I can post the ad from last week's Mexican megamart:
http://www.prosranch.com/ads/ads.aspx?loc=pnlalbque

When the new one comes out I will post that.

Thank you. Your prices are realistic, and believeable when you post
the link to the circular... anyone with athletic fingers can pound out
a list of BS.

Naw...
I am just lazy..I don't have the ambition or energy to type out all
the prices. Easier to just link to the circulars and let folks see
for themselves...LOL

I just check them online..and I have never seen them online at all.

Some of these prices I will be missing in the bay area. Except for
the produce: those prices will be astounding in terms of
affordability. I will have to take my camera to my favorite markets,
if they will let me take pictures. Not to mention the incredible
farmers markets...

Meat prices will be higher there, but I can get such high quality meat
and poultry there. Since I will be paying such incredibly low prices
for produce there, I might sacrifice and get the really good meat and
poultry..LOL. And seafood. I am drooling over that prospect.

Want to come visit?

Actually Ta Lin occasionally sends round a circular, as do 99 Banh. But
it's very irregular.

Nice looking shop. I liked the look of the recipes included.Prices seem
reasonable if I'm doing the conversions properly. They sure sell some
wine, eh!?

This is from another NG. It was a thread about crawfish:

"Plus when you're done with em', you can wear theie little carapaces -
the
heads in particular - on your finger tips like puppets and stage
little
plays about morality and what not."

Yes, a very different array of products from US circulars. But I
didn't see much difference in price for the food basics/staples.

Kroger
http://midatlantic.inserts2online.co...pStoreID=00539

Harris Teeter (bit upscale, what you won't see is anything not on sale costs
more, great loss leaders though)
http://flyer.harristeeter.com/HT_eVI...dex.jsp?ID1751

Farm Fresh
http://shop.farmfreshsupermarkets.co...%2F29%2F200 9

American Asian Grocery doesnt have fliers.

Grin, ours are de-headed and de-footed. 8.80 each. Same for the rest.
Also scored a 20 lb bag of fresh shiitakes for 36$ a bit ago and dehydrated
many of them. Almost all gone now (sob!).

Best place to get marrow bones for soups. Usually 40cents/lb less than
anyplace else if they even sell them.

Here's the local Kroger flier for us:

http://southwest.inserts2online.com/...pStoreID=00747

Note the chicken leg quarters for 39 cents per lb in a 10 lb bag. Bought
a bag full a couple of months ago and most of them were bloody at the bone.

A local market has pork shoulders at 79 cents a lb, looked to be more
fat and bone than meat to me so passed on them.

It's wine sale season. I don't mind -- it means I can pick up some nice
stuff for cheap.

However, nothing beats going to my local wine shop and saying "We're
going to N and J's for dinner, and they're doing [dish]. What do you
think would be good to go with it?" and knowing I'll get the perfect
recommendation.
