This appears to be a great one, but I'd add some vanilla extract, and
would up the butter to a full cube (2T):

Using cake flour makes them nicer too. Just use 1 cup + 2T of cake
flour.
Make sure to use whole milk too

I was, of course, joking, and hotcakes are probably not ideal for your
play.
