Welcome Shaun!

Hope you brought your fireproof undies... ;-)
This group is great fun but can get to be a bit volatile at times!

Welcome, Shaun.

Don't take offense at anything you read here. Soon you'll
be able to tell the difference between the cooks and kooks.

Hi Om,

Thanks for the welcome. This group is so busy! I think I'll be skim-reading
mostly. Life's too short to read all the posts. ;-)

I'll try not to play with fire. <g>

Nope, alt.bread.recipes where we've chattered up quite a bit. Didnt know
you were into software piracy circles, but if so and he's reading them, he;s
as legit as you are. Perhaps more so? His country has different laws about
such.

However, I don't think that I'm going to have the time to keep up with this

What is a "Syrah". Not being cheeky. Just asking. Your item may have

Syrah is the original grape variety grown in the Hermitage region of France.
When it was transplanted to the New World the Aussies in particular (who
excel with this variety, it does really well in their climate) started
calling it 'Shiraz'. In Europe they mostly still call it Syrah, in Aus and I
think US they call it Shiraz. In New Zealand (where I am) it can be either.

If you look at my history Peter, you would realize I often point out the
web research as the first, best step.

In this case, I was not sure it wasn't a typo, and wanted a human to
response.

Not complaining too much, but can you have a food related response?

I know with the volume here, it's not expected that all posts are food
related.

But it would be nice. I'd rather you tell me about the cake you burned :-)

I'm not playing the innocent. alt.bittorrent is not a 'pro-piracy circle'.
Choose your words more carefully.

I appreciated your advice BTW.

Is Demonoid back up? Actually the last thing I downloaded from there was an
XP Home ISO so I could re-install on a laptop that wasn't supplied with
media, just a COA.

That's great for you. Just a word to the wise; Just because I read and post
in alt.bittorrent doesn't make me a piracy advocate.

OK?

Actually my dear it's a variety of grape.

(I know, I answered you twice but I'm drinking that syrah again. T'was on
special, 50% off and it's a surprisingly reasonable drop. Also, I got an
unexpected refund, the insurance company overcharged me, and as my budget
was tight [How tight?] I decided to splash out with the windfall.)

or you could google it, and if it was a typo likely you would get suggested
correct spellings.

no, i think we'd all rather read your offended response blaming others for
your own ignorance.

Much as I hate to get involved in this sort of thing, the laws where you
are, are quite different from some other lands. Downloading an XP ISO when
you already have your COA, is totally *legal* in your country as well as
many others. If it sqicks out USA folks, it's because the lack experience
in the laws of other lands.

Even in the USA, if you have a *legal* COA (Certificate of Authority to the
rest), it can be applied to an ISO. But I'm going to dive out of this
thread fast as USA folks tend to get extremely USA centric on this one.
They tend to assume that what they 'know' is all there is to know and anyone
who doesnt conform to their view, is a pirate.
