Default Proof I've been losing weight, again.

Proof I've been losing weight, again.

Up front, I'll mention I've had bathroom scaleaphobia for awhile.

Just a few moments ago, my 1-carat diamond ring slipped off my finger!

I've changed it across fingers over the years but this was different!

It's resting comfortably on my right thumb. Want a photo?

Probably what I get for only having breakfast? I have half a mind to eat
Quiznos, McDonalds, go hunt down an IHOP or something over the weekend.

Best,

Andy
6'3", 185 lbs.

P.S. There's a punk somewhere in Amsterdam, NL, with an impression of my
ring in his forehead right between the eyes. Punishment for attempted
pickpocketing. --A

How's that working for the diabetes? I would guess pretty well.

Diabetes is weird, though. My morning readings have been too high, so
I've upped my meds. I couldn't sleep this morning, and got up at 5AM.
I took my blood sugar, expecting that it would be high, since it was
three hours earlier than usual. It was 80!

80 is a great number!!!

A couple times I've spiked above 200. 225 being my highest. I've only
gone hypo at 74, according to the Bayer Contour meter.

I don't actually know what diabetic shape I'm in.

Yeah. It's a little low for me, but nothing to worry about.

74 doesn't seem hypoglycemic to me. I'm supposed to start worrying at
70, and seriously worry at 50. I'm on insulin, so I need to do more
worrying.

Might be good to find out.

Not having to deal with diabetes, I don't know what that means but if
you know enough to even say it - get to a doctor and find out!

You aren't old enough to remember when eating at IHOP at 3AM was the
thing to do.

sf,

If you were available, I'd dig deep around into the safe deposit box for
a measly 3-carat perfect emerald-cut diamond ring to slip on your finger
and ask you to marry me! DAMMIT!

Best,

Andy

Sounds like Andy has a meter. He just needs to take a couple of minutes
and test himself with it. It's not fun, but it's quick.

Haven't I seen advertisements for something that doesn't even break
your skin?

on the market!

Speaking of skin, I've seen a lot of ads for creams that make skin look
50 years younger. I haven't bought any yet.

There have been machines in the past that test blood without requiring
any blood. I think they work better than the creams, but not well
enough to be recommended by the medical people yet.

And aging. And preventing anything that harms you
from happening if you eat, drink, and smoke too much.

Andy.... heart of my heart, dahlink - remember to mention me in your
will! A certain 3 carat diamond will be more than enough and I'll
think of you every time I wear it. Honest!
