Default Canned Pumpkin Shortage

Has anybody NOT been able to get the supply of pumpkin that they wanted?
There have been no shortages in my area. Shelves are full of whatever kind
of tinned pumpkin that is usually available.

Yes and expect more threads day after day after day, as each new
retard *discovers* this "shortage"......I think the shortage is on
brain-cells.

The threads will continue for at least another year. The pumpkin in
the stores now is from last year which was very wet also, but his year
was worse in Illinois so I imagine next year will be worse. Libby's
and other packers may be exploiting the situation to raise prices but
there "is" a shortage due to mother nature. Big business playing
games to control prices is nothing new. You may remember a post I
made about dairy cattle being slaughtered so supply would go down and
milk prices could go back up.

Here's a middle of the night twist from an insomniac: I was driving
through central and north-central Illinois a week ago and drove past
miles of fields filled with rotting pumpkins. All within 90 minutes
of Chicago. So we've got over 10% unemployment and who knows how many
on food stamps or other government assistance. Yet there's food
rotting because a machine can't get to it? A human and a pair of
boots could harvest it. Something is really wrong with this picture.

On our return trip back to Chicago I saw at least 20 farmers working
the corn fields on tractors with lights at 10:00pm Sunday night. At
one point I had 4 of them in my sight. All different farms. These
men and women are working through the night trying to make a living
and keep their farms while some fat-ass lazy bitch is stuffing her
face with potato chips purchased with food stamps while watching
desperate housewives.

I wrote the above at 3:00 this morning and after going back to bed I
decided against the paragraph that was where this one is. Some stuff
is really screwed up with how things work in the US.

I was surprised to find no canned pumpkin at Aldi's when I shopped for
Christmas dinner last year. I couldn't find a place on the shelf for
it, so I assumed that they didn't carry it at all. I bought sweet
potatoes and made sweet potato pie instead.

Hopefully she's the only one with their hands in the chip bag. She
doesn't wash her hands after she goes poo.

Aldi's isn't a real grocery store. There's a few things we get there
but they don't come close to filling all our needs.
