Default Pork Butt for Squertz

I use the crockpot but the recipe has to be adapted for one. Depends on
what you want but if you want something that will be in between pot-roasty
and lends well to shredding, just salt and pepper the roast and put it in
there. Add at most, a few TB vinegar. Oven methods add broth or stock but
leave that out when doing the crockpot method. Sometimes, I put a bed of
onions at the bottom.

Sounds good. I generally like to drown pork in garlic and herbs tho' if
I'm going to braise or roast it. Gets rid of that musty flavor that
pork sometimes gets when it cools off.
