Default steaming a pudding (half recipe)

I plan to make a steamed persimmon pudding. The recipe is written for
a 2 qt. mold, but the one I own is half that size, i.e. 1 qt.
capacity. (naturally I'll be cutting the recipe in half) I'm
wondering if I need to cut the steaming time down, or go the full 2
hrs the recipe directs. Anyone had experience steaming half recipes
like this? Any advice would be appreciated.
