Was that all lake effect, or the storm that came up the coast? Your warm
tree looks like mine, though I haven't gotten lights out yet. It looks like
the heavy snow we got today down in Maryland.

Yup. Picture number two is about how it looks here now too.

Very nice, Sheldon. We have just an inch or so of snow but more
is forecast for every day this week. And it's C-O-L-D,
in the low single digits overnight, thanks to Canadian air.
I'm trying to get my Other Half motivated to hang some wreaths
but he's lying low.

What's funny is, all the Denver networks and online weather sites show
little or no snow in Buena Vista area, yet it's dumped 10" since early
AM and still snowing, the heaviest snowfall this season. I gotta
shovel again in about an hour. Oh yeah.... 10F at noon!

Beautiful photos, Sheldon. Though in another thread I asked you to
adopt me because of your cooking, I'd better stay right here in my
desert where it's now in the low seventies and sixties. I am
freezing! My days are preferred in the mid-nineties, though I
certainly can see the beauty in snow. Can you mail your great
cookings to me instead?

Thank you. I'm very pleased with how my "Fat Albert" Colorado blue
spruce is growing.

Spruce trees will do very well in your climate.

Nice photos, and I really like the tree in lights. Where I live, each
business will have a decorated tree or trees that sit near the side of
the road. It is fun to pass the trees and see how they decorated them.
