Perhaps he is bitter about what they made him do. I used to love Peter Sellers movies, but a few years ago I read his son's book and realized what a nasty person he was in real life, and how he hated what he was being forced to do in his movies. I have to admit that I find it hard to respect him. But I did see a couple of Pink Panther movies recently and I cant help but laugh. It is appropriate that he played in the Magic Christian, a movie about selling out for money. |

He did a number of heavily dramatic roles in such early 60's TV shows as _Naked City_ and _Route 66_, it's somewhat disconcerting to see if you are used solely to his later comedic acting... -- Best Greg |

NOT. i recently saw the 'body snatchers' remake on public t.v. it made me wonder - was the donald sutherland character meant to come across as a pompous asshole? but leonard nimoy and (especially) jeff goldblum were great. your pal, blake |

In the movie Gattaca the fanciest special effect is one scene where the focus is blurred, yet it is one of the most powerful science fiction tales told in the movies since 2001. > And if anyone DARES to do a re - make of _Forbidden Planet_ I think I'm > going to *shoot* someone, lol... The guy who wrote Babylon 5 has been working on in. If anyone can pull it off, it's JMS. So pods - Sauteed? |
