The Polder digital thermometer is the one that is used on foodnetwork
but when I went in search of reviews I found that 90% of the reviews
rated the Polder at the lowest level. What other thermometer would
you all recommend if not the Polder?

Thanks.

Well why don't you see what those reviews have to say? In any case I've had
a Polder for a few years now and it has been great. My only complaint is
that the alarm is not very loud.

90% of the reviews rated the Polder at the lowest level. What do you
mean by see what they have to say?

In any case I've had a Polder for a few years now and it has been
great. My only complaint is that the alarm is not very loud. 61
reviews on Amazon rate it very poorly so I am looking for an
alternative brand. One person recommended Pyrex. I am finding that
all thermometers seem to have bad reviews.
