Default Sabatier Pot Lid gets water trapped under handle, any solutions?

We just bought a nice Sabatier cookware set. The lids are glass with
a screwed on handle of resin with a stainless steel base. The problem
is when they are washed water gets between the glass lid and the
stainless steel base that the handle knob sits on.

I have been unscrewing the handles, but that is a pain....I don't want
to use a sealer since it may vaporize into our food.

It's the Sabatier Precision 10 piece Stainless Steel cookware set.

Other than buying all stainless steel replacement lids you're outta luck...
whatever impels people to buy pots with glass lids anyway... why are they even
made.
