Speaking of Sodas... Does anyone know of a Diet Soda that *does not*
contain Aspartame?... Whatever happened to that Pepsi One thing?...
Wasn't that made with some other type of artificial sweetener?... Maybe
one day someone will wise up and try using Splenda in a diet soda...

Diet Rite Soda makes their diet drink with Splenda. The make several
fruit flavors and cola plus diet RC Cola. Their cola has no aspartane,
sodium or caffeine and I think it is delicious. Where I live they do
not market it very well or promote it. I think they are sitting on a
gold mine and do not know it. Try it if you can find it!!

"Hansens" makes a sugar free ginger-ale with Splenda...
It's still TOO damned sweet tho'! Sun Harvest carries that brand.

I just make my own sugar free cool-aid with Splenda :-)

You just have to see what level of sweetness that _you_ prefer,
and go from there. I used to buy the sugar free cool-aid made with
Nutra-sweet until I swore off of Aspartame.

I just buy the unsweetened packets and add 1 packet of splenda per 8 oz.
of liquid.

It tastes just like the sugared stuff to me.....

Diet Rite is made with a combination of Splenda and AceK.

It's still available in St. Louis. It uses a mixture of aspartame and
AceK.

They are working on. Right now, the manufacturing capacity of Splenda
couldn't support the diet beverage industry.

Likely the big ones will go with Splenda blends.

In the northeastern U.S. you can get a soda called "Waist Watchers" made
with Splenda. My mom brought some back from upstate NY that was chocolate
flavored.

I liked it. My brother, however, thought it tasted like spray paint.

Diet Rite sodas are made with Splenda . ..Pepsi One has been abducted by
aliens. That one was my favorite.
