Default Finding a good stove

I am preparing to remodel my kitchen and I'm shopping for a new stove
and oven. Searching the web turned up a good looking choice
http://lagermania.it but they don't sell them in the USA. Does anyone
have any experience with this brand? The price and quality seems good.
I can order it direct from Hong Kong but I'd like to hear some personal
experiences with the brand first.

The typical high-end brands available in USA (Viking, Wolf) seem more
like overpriced designer show-pieces than practical cookers for
everyday use in the home. I care more about cleanability, space
efficiency, and value.

I would not buy a stove for which parts and service are not available where
I live. It's worth checking into.

But not how they cook..

You obviously don't know how to cook nearly well enough to drive any of these
appliances, otherwise you'd not be asking what to get... my personal guess is
you can't cook[period] You're prolly like the old geezer with more dollars
than brain cells who buys a Maserati, who needs to ask what that dinky little
brake pedal is for... it's a decoration... Masaratis are designed for going,
not stopping.

Yes, they are.

When I watch a show on kitchens they warn the residential commercial is
harder to clean. Harder than what I can't say.

Also they tout these 18,000 BTU burners as 'big'. Add another 10,000 and
your at the rating of our Imperial I-R4.

We looked at Viking but the Wife wasn't happy with front and rear grates
being one piece. Also it cost more, and the fake commercial cost three
times as much.

Yes, our I-R4 isn't the 'state of the art' restaurant range, And there
are firewall considerations, that's why I haven't used the oven yet.

I can make brown rice in a 1 quart Revere Ware sauce pan. That's WITHOUT
the optional 7000 btu simmer burner.

And the standard burners heat evenly.

They also have a Wok Jet.

Far as cleaning? It comes apart in 5 minutes.

I'm happy.

Blow off the troll.

Perhaps that is bleeding obvious and too general to specify. You twit.

Tsk, tsk, tsk... another ignorant ass boy. Hmm, I was (yet again) correct.

Check Consumer Reports. They have evaluated numerous models of gas and
electric ovens and ranges. Even for those who do not agree with CR's
testing methods, they give a lot of tips on what features do what and
explain how to decide on a quality unit.

I have seen no comments here about the Boston Market commercial showing the
high end range in a designer kitchen. The gal comes home with a bag from
Boston Market, puts it on the stove and says "There's Supper", no stove to
clean!! The stove does take a fair amount of space though.
