When Niece Jo and I traveled to Czechoslovakia when it still was that, she allowed as how I should only pack what I could tote, because SHE sure as hell wasn't carrying MY stuff. I got the message. Most of the stuff I hauled back fit in the bags, too, because she also taught me about ditching all packaging and wrapping things (breakables, e.g.) in clothes. Oh yeah.. did that quite a few times over there after big shopping trips in Prague. Wonderful crystal. Did you ever go into the old Russian Department store there? It was almost surreal in its austerity, yet had some gems to be found. Goomba |
