I used to be able to find these small rounds of bread dough with a sort of
'lip' on them, I cannot for the life of me recall the name brand. You just toasted them and added things on top. I'd use them to top with scrambled eggs, crumbled sausage or bacon and cheese to make breakfast pizzas. Quite yummy; then I'd freeze them and take them to work to zap for a quick breakfast. Anyone know what these things were called? And where to find them (if at all)? Jill |

Can't seem to find them anywhere anymore. It was convenient to make up mini pizzas for a quick zap for breakfast or lunch. My local grocery store has stopped carrying things I like. Boudin? No, but we have Andouille. Heh, totally different sausage; I'm not making gumbo or jambalaya. Lamb shanks? Oh, they are in the back. Why? Nothing wrong with a good stewed lamb shank. The butcher looked at me oddly and I had to laugh. Yes, I apparently like "strange" food. I should have asked if they carried prepared Haggis. That would have really thrown him for a loop! Jill |

Ny idea of Mexican breakfast pizza. possibly a 6" tortilla, salsa as a sauce, covered in scrambled eggs, melted shredded Jack cheese, green chiles, red bell pepper strips and chopped sausage or chopped canadian bacon. Usually what I do for pizzas is use pita bread. But I've never had any for
breakfast before, I have however, made breakfast burritos before consisting of a soft tortilla, bean dip or tzatziki, scrambled eggs topped with various veggies such as green pepper, tomato, mushrooms and then topped with cheese. Sometimes I'll even cook the scrambled eggs with a bit of salsa. -- Compmouse Come visit KittyRealm, an active and friendly Sanrio Community (http://pub37.ezboard.com/bkittyrealm) "hahabogus" > wrote in message ... > sf > wrote in > : > > > On Tue, 13 Jul 2004 12:05:29 -0500, "jmcquown" > > > wrote: > > > >> Well now you have!
