I'm the original poster, and I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to
reply. No allergy is involved in my case; I have diverticulosis and am supposed to avoid anything that can get "caught" on the way through the digestive system. Since my colon has already been perforated once (don't ask!), I tend to be on the conservative side about what I eat. I've gotten a lot of good ideas from all of you, and I appreciate them. Fran |

Oh, then grind the pine nuts into a smooth nut butter instead a chunky
one, then make pesto as always. Recipe is the same; flavor is the same; nutrition is the same; spending hours of distress in the bathroom after eating pesto is not the same. --Lia Franfogel wrote: > I'm the original poster, and I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to > reply.
