Default What to use with vanilla sauce

I'm serving a chocolate mousse for Christmas, but some of my guests don't like
chocolate, so I thought I'd make a vanilla sauce (for some reason I've been
thinking of this sauce that my mother made when I was a child). My question is
what to serve the sauce on. I thought of gingerbread, but the guest who doesn't
like chocolate also isn't fond of gingerbread. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Thank you.

Apple pie/strudel? Or any fruit tart.
Fruit fool.
Mince pies. Christmas pudding.
Make a trifle.

If the human brain were simple enough that we could understand it, we would
be so simple that we couldn't.

That seems a bit reversed to me. Why not make an alternative dessert and
then choose a sauce? I like mustard but I wouldn't plan a menu around it.
