Many of you have been asking about the Magic Bullet blender system
seen on TV and sold for about $99.

To save you the trouble, I will tell you, DON'T GET IT.

It is so loud that I wear earplugs when I use it. It's basically a
blender. Making cheese sauce, chopping onions, making salsa -- as
shown on the infomercial -- my blender could do that. What a stupid
gimic.

Before you accuse me of being dumb enough to buy an "as seen on TV"
product, let me tell you that I got this free and that is the only
reason why I own one

Crap. My wife just ordered one withe "buy one get one free" offer.
No more watching TV on Sunday!

Is the noise your only complaint?

I know my wife likes to make smoothies, fresh salsa, small batches of
dips, etc. I hope we will get some use out of it.

My coffee grinder is really loud, so I'm used to short bursts of loud
noise.
