Default What pig organ is this?

There's a pig organ that the Chinese eat. I wonder if anyone can tell
what it is from its description.

The organ is a coil-like tube about the diameter of a pencil. The
texture is resilient, somewhat firm; like a hollow spiral bungee cord if
you will. It is sometimes cooked in a dark, mildly salty marinate.

I don't think it's the small intestine because (I think) I know what a
pig small intestine looks like.

Help solve the mystery for me!

You forgot to mention that you only get one per male pig.

I've never seen a pig with a tail as thin as a pencil. I do not have any
other ideas but I'm pretty sure that's not it.

It's not what you think it is. It's an internal organ. It has a very
smooth texture - no hair and un-skin-like. If I remember it correctly,
it has a web-like membrane attached to the inside of the coil (not the
inside of the hollow tube), at least when uncooked. The diameter of the
coil (or spiral) is about 1 1/2 in.
