Default Searching for 'The Turkey Store' recipe

Does this look close? Try using bulk turkey breakfast sausage and add
some fennel seeds and a pinch of cayenne when you brown it to turn it
into Italian sausage. Or just use ground turkey and add some salt.

(I've never tried this recipe, I just now searched for it)

Best regards,
Bob

Spaghetti Pie
(recipe by Land O Lakes)

4 ounces uncooked dried spaghetti
1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 cup spaghetti sauce
3/4 cup LAND O LAKES® Sour Cream
4 ounces (1 cup) LAND O LAKES® Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1 large egg
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Heat oven to 375°F. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet brown sausage; drain off fat. Stir in
spaghetti sauce. Cook over medium heat 3 minutes.
In medium bowl stir together 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese, sour cream and
egg; stir in spaghetti. Place spaghetti mixture in 9-inch pie pan;
sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella cheese. Spread sausage mixture over
entire surface.
Cover with aluminum foil; bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until heated
through. Remove aluminum foil; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Let stand
10 minutes before serving. To serve, cut into wedges.
Makes 6 servings.

TIP: If desired, add drained canned sliced mushrooms or sliced ripe
olives to spaghetti sauce.

TIP: Substitute 9-inch square baking pan. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes.
