Default fruit trees

Made a trip with baby and dog up the half a mile of fruit trees
bordering on the back of the soon-to-be-developed airfield behind the
Adventist Academy in Auburn. The cherries are past, but some *perfect*
apples the SIL called "green transparents" were delicious, as were some
undersized but ripe Italian plums. The green gage plums were green but
beautiful. We gorged on blackberries, hot from the sun, tasting like
little bites of pie still warm from the oven. The dog, getting older,
spent more time checking out scats than chasing rabbits, and the
children tired, so we turned back early, baby riding on papa's shoulders
the last leg.
