They can't reach the button. That relegates them to a walkup.

Elevation may be a real factor.

A friend told me just a couple of days ago that they don't
have a flea problem up in the mountains... her dog can
arrive at their vacation house with fleas, but after a few
days they're gone.

We already know they're diabetics, so I guess their sex life
isn't sacred either.

Unless it's running for elected office...

OBFood: Tonight's junk food is: Mrs. Baird's fired pies. Apple. But
to redeem myself with the good food police, I'm going to thaw a big
beef loin to smoke-roast this weekend. (Company from out of town +
Buddy's birthday, and I only got him a hand-held bug zapper.) I'm
going to do the fan on the firebox trick to get the heat up to hellish
levels at first.

Much to my surprise too, apparently fleas aren't a very big
part of that <high elevation> ecosystem... which is also
quite warm and on the dry side.

Yeah, I heard the same thing when we arrived here at 3500 feet above sea
level. Guess what?

There are fleas here.

D'oh! That's what happens when one's newsreader goes "flub." When it's

I think we're talkin' *real* mountains :-) When I was at 8,500' in
Colorado, about the only annoying insects we had were ants.
